CUAAHK cordially invites you to a private movie screening of "On the Basis of Sex". On the Basis of Sex is a 2018 American biographical legal drama film based on the life and early cases of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who graduated at the top of the Class of 1959 at Columbia Law School and became its first tenured women professor in 1972. Justice Ginsburg spent a lifetime flourishing in the face of adversity before being appointed a Supreme Court justice, where she successfully fought against gender discrimination and unified the liberal block of the court. Please come and celebrate the achievements and courage of this stellar alumna of Columbia!
