CUAAHK is teaming up with MicroForests on a social innovation workshop on December 17th, 2016. This Christmas, why not give your loved ones a personalized Japanese terrarium that you designed yourself! Have fun with your fellow alums to create unique one-of-a-kind gifts while learning about the social innovation and entrepreneurship scene in Hong Kong. During this time of the year, many in HK are still living in sub-standard environments and MicroForests is one of many social enterprises that have been launched with an aim to alleviate and bring awareness to the problem. We hope you would join us at this meaningful event.
MicroForests is a social enterprise that provides meaningful training and dignified job opportunities for women who are single parents, new arrivals, or from low-income families through the sale of MicroForests artwork and workshops. Its goal is to empower women to build their self-esteem and self-worth, to ultimately build self-sustainability.
