Calling Hiking Enthusiasts to Support this year’s Hike for Hospice!

Join us in supporting this year’s Hike for Hospice to support a great cause!

Established in 1986, the Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care (SPHC) is a non-profit organization without government subvention that dedicates to providing comprehensive palliative and hospice care to terminal patients. To date, SPHC has offered diverse programs across Hong Kong, including in-patient service, bereavement service, home care service, professional training and public education, as well as day service and day activity. In 1992, Hike for Hospice was inaugurated as its signature event to fundraise for its operation.

CUHKAA has been a strong patron by donating and setting up alumni teams for the past 3 decades. In 2023, our team won the trophy for the most fundraised team for the second time in history, with over HK$69,000.

This year, we would like to continue to support by recruiting individual hikers, forming an alumni team of 4, and calling for donation.

• Individuals can sign up for 4k/7k/14k or 20k routes, with a minimum of HKD 5,000 fundraising requirement.
• The alumni team will enroll in the 14k route, aiming to raise at least HK$15,000 and to finish the fastest in the alumni challenge category.
• Individuals or groups can support by donating.
