Columbia University Film Festival (CUFF) Hong Kong 2026

Columbia University Alumni Association Hong Kong (CUAAHK) will be hosting Columbia University Film Festival (CUFF) + Panel & Q&A at Soho House Hong Kong on Saturday, Jan 17th 3-6pm.

Join us on Saturday, Jan 17th, 2026 for a private screening of six Juries-Selected Short Films by MFA Graduates from Columbia University Film Festival (CUFF 2025) followed by a Panel + Q&A with MingKai Leung (‘06 SOA Columbia) who recently won Best Cinamatographer award at the 62nd Golden Horse Awards for hishis work in “Mother Buhmi”. Hong Kong Director Oliver Chen (’23 SOA Columbia), prolific producer of advertisement, music video and VR projects. Dr. Terry Lam, Dean of school of Films & Television at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Screenwriter mastermind behind 2023 Hong Kong blockbuster “A Guilty Conscience”, the Highest grossing Chinese Film in Hong Kong, and won best Film at the 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards. Moderated by Dr. Henry Woo (Columbia SIPA ‘03, Economics of Public Diplomacy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences)

CUFF acts as a launchpad for these emerging filmmakers, featuring short films and screenplays from the School of the Arts.
