The Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD at Bethanie on 14 Nov 2015

The University of Pennsylvania Club of Hong Kong and Columbia University Alumni Association of Hong Kong are proud to present the HD broadcast of the premiere Metropolitan Opera production of Rossini's La Donna del Lago, based on Sir Walter Scott’s “The Lady of the Lake”, at Hong Kong’s historic Bethanie.
La Donna del Lago is one of the nine dramatic operas that Rossini wrote for Teatro San Carlo in Naples between 1815 and 1822. The Met has brought back the popular opera in 19th century back with a stellar cast including Joyce DiDonato, Juan Diego Flórez and Daniela Barcellona, into an unforgettable evening.
The opera will be introduced by Laurence Scofield, Foundation for the Arts and Music in Asia (FAMA), and followed by a buffet supper (see menu below):
