CUAAHK AGM Invitation, GC Election and Audited Financial Statements 

The Columbia University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) Limited Annual General Meeting (CUAAHK AGM) will be held on Monday, 14 September 2026 at the Hong Kong Club.  This year, we are honored to have a fireside chat with internationally renowned physician-scientist Prof. LI King-Chuen who was recently appointed as the Founding Dean of HKUST’s School of Medicine.

Professor Li is an internationally distinguished physician-scientist and biomedical innovator.  Prof. Li currently holds the titles of Dean Emeritus and Professor Emeritus at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, as well as Adjunct Professor of Radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine. His career spans leading institutions including Stanford University, the U.S. National Institutes of Health, Weill Cornell Medical College, Wake Forest School of Medicine, and UIUC. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (with Honours) from the University of Toronto and an MBA from San José State University.

• 8:15pm – 9:15pm – Annual General meeting

Dress Code: Business attire, no denim clothing, shorts, shirts without collar, sports shoes, shoes with white rubber sole or slippers allowed at the Hong Kong Club Dress Code & Policies | The Hong Kong Club

Ticket Price: HK$450 for members, HK$600 for non-members. (2 Drinks per person included in price)

Capacity: 75 people

Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of Columbia University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Association”) will be held on 14 September 2026 at the Victoria Suite, 1/F, The Hong Kong Club, 1 Jackson Road, Central, Hong Kong.

Agenda of Annual General Meeting (Meeting proceedings to commence at 8:15 pm)

The Members will consider the following matters:

1. To receive a Report from the President on 2025-2026 Year in Review
2. To receive a Report from the Treasurer on the financial status of the Association up to 31 March 2026
3. To receive and adopt the audited Financial Statements of the Association and the Report of the Independent Auditor for the year ended 31 March 2026. (Please click here for the Financial Statements and the Report.)    
4. To approve the re-appointment of Dickson Wong C.P.A. Co. Limited as Auditor of the Association 
5. To elect General Committee Members
6. To consider any other business

CUAAHK General Committee Members (“GC”) Election 

CUAAHK Members (those who have paid for Annual or Lifetime membership) and were members as of 1 January 2026 are welcome to be a candidate for CUAAHK General Committee 2026-2028.  

For those interested in running, the timeline is:

ON OR BEFORE 4 September 2026 - Submit self-nomination along with a short bio (not more than 300 words). Please email bio to [email protected]. 

7 September 2026 (one week before AGM) - Candidate list along with bio and proxy forms to be sent to all members

ON OR BEFORE 12 September 2026, 8:30pm HK time - Proxy form needs to be submitted to [email protected] for those not able to attend AGM in person. 

14 September 2026 - Elections at CUAAHK AGM

Voting by Proxy: Members are reminded that physical attendance at the AGM is NOT NECESSARY for voting rights to be exercised and may cast their votes by submitting a proxy form appointing the Chairperson of the AGM or a Member entitled to vote as their proxy, with voting instructions if desired.
