It has been a while since we went hiking outdoors together. So, let's welcome 2026 with an easy hike with the current students visiting Hong Kong over holidays as we explore Lamma.

The hike will be followed by a BBQ with CUAAHK Board veteran David Peng hosting us for with a delectable menu at his villa on Lamma, for CUAAHK current paid members only. It is a great opportunity to mingle with fellow CUAAHK alumni and current students while exploring Lamma and enjoying BBQ at David's.

Given the limited numbers the host can accommodate, other alums have the option to join for the hike only with the option to get David’s recommendations for local eating options on Lamma to check out.

Meeting Details:

• Meeting Time: January 10th, 2026 at 11:40 am (We plan to take the 12 pm ferry to Lamma, so please be on time)
• Meeting Location: Central Ferry Pier 4

Price: 

• HK$300 for current paid CUAAHK members*
• HK$200 for current students
  The above option include the BBQ with the menu curated by David and limited drinks (wine / non alcoholic options).
• HK$1 for hike only. David has some local Lamma recommendations for eating. If required, please let us know.

The hike will take approximately 2 hours.

• Please wear comfortable hiking shoes, sunscreen and appropriate outdoor gear (hike poles optional). Don’t forget to carry ample water, snacks and some cash and octopus.
