CUAAHK Culinary Adventures: Korean Cooking with Chef Juri

Join us for a Korean cooking class led by Juri Shin at the Korean Culture Center (KCC). Chef Juri will show us how to make Jjimdak (Korean Braised Chicken) and Geotjeori (Fresh Kimchi), which we'll enjoy together afterward with rice and side dishes. All required ingredients and condiments will be provided. Come join us to learn a new Korean recipe!

Chef Juri’s Bio:

Chef Juri graduated from the renowned Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in California and trained under world-renowned Chef José Andrés at The Bazaar from 2011 to 2012. Since then, she has been teaching cooking classes in Seoul and Hong Kong. She has appeared on cooking shows, such as MBC’s “I Live Alone.”

  • As the KCC is a South Korean cultural facility, attendees are asked to respect the laws of South Korea and Hong Kong.
  • Eligible participants of the workshop must be Hong Kong citizens, Permanent Residents or non-Korean persons.
  • Member pricing is available for current CUAAHK members only. Membership status will be verified by event organizer.
  • Alumni may come with minors but must pay the non-member ticket price for guest.
  • Non-alumni guests are permitted by invitation only.
  • Waitlist will open 48 hours before start of event if there are last minute cancellations received by that time. If members wish to be on a waitlist, please contact CUAAHK event organizers Young Aan or Yvette Poon through the CUAAHK Community WhatsApp channel.
  • No refunds once payment is completed.
  • No refunds for no show.
  • Full refund is only available if venue operator Korean Cultural Center cancels the entire event due to conflict with an official event or any unforeseen natural disaster or incident.
