The two board directors will discuss their insights on brand and culture, investment culture, crisis management as well as thoughts on our changing business environments.

Speakers
Mr. Ian Stone
Mr. Ian Stone has been an Independent Non-Executive Director to Tencent Holdings since 2004 – an internet ecosystem applications, services and investment company listed in Hong Kong. Since 2018, he has been an Advisor to the Planet N Group of companies on tech investing in Asia and the MENA regions. He has also been Director and joint-owner of Pontis Partners Ltd, a telecom and tech advisory consulting company, since 2003. Between October 2018 and October 2021, he was an Independent Non-Executive Director to OSN (Panther Media Group), a Pay TV and Streaming media business in the MENA region. Between 1990 and 2010, he was a former CEO to various Hong Kong based Mobile and Wirelesss companies including CSL, Pacific Link, SmarTone, SUNDAY, UK Broadband, PCCW Global as well as to SITC in Saudi Arabia. He worked in various roles for the global satellite and cable company, Cable and Wireless, between 1970 and 1977.
Mr. Michael Wu
Mr. Michael Wu is the Chairman and Managing Director of Hong Kong Maxim’s Group, which operates a diversified food and beverage service comprising Chinese, Asian and European restaurants, quick service restaurants, bakery shops, institutional catering, Japanese chain restaurants and coffee shops in Hong Kong & Macau regions, Mainland China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and The Philippines.
The Group is now Hong Kong’s leading food and beverage chain operating over 1,800 outlets , with a team over 34,000 staff personnel serving more than 600,000 people every day.
Mr. Wu is also a director of Hang Seng Bank Ltd., Hongkong Land Holdings Ltd., Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd. and The Community Chest of Hong Kong. He holds a 1992 Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University. He has received awards including Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year 2012 China - Country (Hong Kong/Macau) award & Category (Service) award and DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards 2008 in the Executive Category.
