Morningside Salon: The US Presidential Election 2016

Columbia University Alumni Association of Hong Kong would like to cordially invite you to participate in the first of a new series of informal “Morningside Salon” discussions where we will explore the impact of current events within the context of emerging social and technological trends. Each salon session will feature a different forward-looking topic. Discussions will begin with a description of a general scenario, relevant facts, and key trends. The audience will then be invited to debate possible future developments and outcomes. The event will also be live streamed on Facebook and viewer feedback will be incorporated into the discussion.

Join us on Thursday, November 10th as we host our first Morningside Salon discussion on the results of the 2016 US Presidential Election. We will analyze the pre- and post- election results, and the potential ramifications going forward. Given this heated election cycle, we will have many dynamic discussion points.
