Oxfam Rice Event 2025

CUAAHK is participating in the 2025 Oxfam Rice Event under the theme “Fight Climate Change, Empower Smallholder Farmers.”  The funds raised are used to support Oxfam’s poverty alleviation and development programs for communities living in poverty worldwide, including efforts to address climate change challenges, improve their livelihoods, and achieve long-term self-reliance.

You can volunteer in one of our three assigned time slots to help sell the rice bags to raise funds or just swing by on the day of to support your fellow Columbia alums by buying some Oxfam rice bag or giftsets.  This year, the gift sets are done in collaboration with Medialink Group featuring the classic British children’s book Mr. Men Little Miss.
